Psychological, psychometric, and neurodevelopmental assessments are priced separately from therapy sessions.
These services typically include:
 • Clinical intake and history taking
 • Administration of standardized psychological tests
 • Scoring and interpretation
 • A comprehensive written report
 • A feedback session to discuss results and recommendations
The total fee reflects the psychologist’s professional time as well as the cost of standardized testing materials.
We generally recommend beginning with an initial consultation. During this session, the psychologist will discuss your concerns, determine whether an assessment is needed, and advise you on the most suitable tests and their fees.
If you already know the type of assessment you need (e.g., IQ testing requested by school), you may also contact our team directly for further information.

What happens in the first session? 初次咨询是怎么样的流程

Your first session usually lasts 1 hour 20 minutes. At the beginning, your therapist will review the forms you signed regarding confidentiality and cancellation policies. After the administrative details are completed, the session invites you to share some of your background and the context of the topics or concerns you would like to explore, which helps us better understand your needs. The therapy session serves as a safe space where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings.
During the session, your therapist will ask questions to understand you better and guide the conversation, so don’t worry if you are unsure what to talk about.

Towards the end of the session, your therapist may summarize what you have shared, offer some initial feedback, and discuss scheduling if follow-up sessions are needed. You might feel ready to schedule another appointment right away, or you may want some time to decide. It is normal if it takes a few sessions to determine whether weekly therapy is a good fit. We are here to support you throughout this process and ensure that therapy feels right for you.
